Who is she, anyways?

Victoria is an engineer, first and foremost. Her work is comprised mostly of working between business and engineering to find better ways to utilize data and serve business needs. In 2016 she received her BS in nuclear engineering and in 2017 she received her MS in business analytics, both from the University of Tennessee. While obtaining her degrees she balanced her studies with working 25+ hours per week for research groups such as the Scintillation Materials Research Center and global Fortune 500 companies such as Siemens.

Victoria likes to answer tough questions and find opportunities for increasing efficiency through data utilization. In her work she’s tackled everything from “Can we calibrate PET scanners with background radiation?” to “How can we determine remaining useful life of this motor using AAKR and current readings?”. Problem Solver and Challenge Creator isn’t a job title she’s seen, but that’s what she is.

In her free time Victoria is either volunteering for an adult literacy cause or outside with her dog of 11 years, Happy.

Come here to enjoy lessons she’s learned in her career development and volunteer activities, read tidbits from every day life as a millennial, and hopefully challenge and contribute to both of your personal growths.
